Select a ring that fits your intended finger comfortably. Lay it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimeters at the widest inner edge.
Wrap a snug strip of paper or non-stretchy string around the base of your finger. Mark the point where the ends meet and measure the length in millimeters against a flat ruler.
